Hey mom of multiples! Let's talk about the impossible task of doing it all. The dishes, the laundry, the meal prep... it's a never-ending cycle, and when you have more than one baby, it can feel like you're constantly running on a hamster wheel.
But what if I told you there’s a simple strategy that can give you back some of your precious time and mental energy? It's called batching. Instead of doing a little bit of everything every single day, you do a lot of one thing all at once.
This isn't about being a superhero. It’s about being smart with the tiny bits of time you have. Maybe one day, when the stars align and the babies are both napping for 20 minutes, you batch-fold all the laundry you've been putting off. Or you chop all the veggies you'll need for the week's dinners at once. The idea is to get into a flow, finish the task, and then not have to think about it again for a few days.
This is a game-changer for meal prep. You could spend one hour on a Sunday making a big batch of freezer-friendly burritos or a huge pot of chili that will serve as dinner (or lunch!) for the next three days. Less time cooking means more time for snuggles, or, let's be honest, more time to just sit down for a minute. It’s about working smarter, not harder.
So, if you were to "batch" one chore this week, what would it be? The laundry, the meals, or something else entirely?
